DOUBLE FOR YOUR TROUBLE

You, O Yahweh, are our loving Father! From ancient times Your name is our Redeemer. Isaiah 63:16

Some time ago my little granddaughter wanted me to watch one of her favorite YouTube videos. The whole time the video was playing she kept saying, over and over, “Wait for it . . . Wait for it . . . !”

I knew that something was going to happen at the end of the video, and I understood that it was going to be something good, and based on her reaction, I knew that it was going to be worth the wait.

Right now, things look like they are upside-down and wrong-side-out. But the Lord keeps encouraging me that, “When the earth goes topsy-turvy and nobody knows which end is up, I nail it all down, I put everything in place again.” Psalm 75:3

The Lord is in the business of redeeming and restoring, “And He will compensate you for the years that the swarming locust has eaten.” Joel 2:25 He sees you and He says “DOUBLE FOR YOUR TROUBLE.” Everything that you have lost, everything that the enemy has stolen, He is going to return to you bigger and better! He is about to turn the page and “favor will fall like rain upon our surrendered lives, like showers reviving the earth.” Psalm 72:6

The Lord is restoring dreams. Things that have passed you by and you feel like the opportunity is long gone, the Lord says, “God, your God, will restore everything you lost; He’ll have compassion on you; He’ll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered. No matter how far away you end up, God, your God, will get you out of there and bring you back to the land your ancestors once possessed. It will be yours again. He will give you a good life.” Deuteronomy 30:3-5

You did not miss it, and you did not lose your opportunity. What you thought was lost to you forever is being reclaimed and restored!  It will come to you suddenly and unexpectedly. He is qualifying you and “setting your feet upon a rock and establishing your steps.” Psalm 40:2 He is putting you in the right place at the right time, and surrounding you with people that will launch you into your destiny! “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

Go ahead, dare to hope and dare to dream beyond human reason. Expect that great things are coming to you. As you “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3

Father God has the ending already planned out and it’s going to be amazing! “He is the One and Only God of wonders, surpassing every expectation. Psalm 72:18

The Lord is saying over and over, “Wait for it . . . Wait for it . . .  !

The Lord restore the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10
